United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc says  it has reviewed monthly international spend limit on its debit and prepaid Naira cards form $100 to $2,000.

The review, which represents a marked increase by 1,900 per cent, allows customers to withdraw up to $2,000 per month as against prior limit of $100.

Executive Director, Operations and Technology, Chukwuma Nweke, UBA, said in a statement that the review will let cardholders make more convenient and seamless transactions when making purchases outside Nigeria.

"This gives our customers the opportunity to make international payments on Web and POS. Further more, you can make ATM withdrawals subject to the current limit of $100/day."

UBA is a leading pan-African financial services group, with presence in 19 African countries, as well as the United States of America, United Kingdom and France.
