16 Lifestyle Changes to Become Happy

The true definition of happiness comes from within the human’s heart. In other to stay or perhaps live a happy lifestyle, certain changes have to be made in our daily routine. Life they say is meant to be tasted and not swallowed. Take things easy as you go about your daily activities.


1. Do more of what you love. Do you like to cook? Do something that you really enjoy, every day. It can  be as simple as listening to your favorite album when on your way to work.

 2. Try new things, often- that’s how you grow.

3. Learn to say “no” to things you don’t feel like doing.


4. Keep your email inbox organized. Digital mess, still counts as “mess”.

 


5. Don’t compare yourself to others. Remember that you are unique and nothing can replace you. Learn how to stop procrastinating. Tackle your most important tasks, first.


     6. Get more sleep.



     7. Don’t ever stop learning.


8. Worry less. Don’t waste your time feeling anxious about things that are beyond your control.


9. Get rid of things that don’t serve you and surround yourself only with positive, supportive people.



                                                                 10. Stay curious.


                                                                 11. Listen more.

12. Do something nice for others, on regular basis. There’s nothing better than to put a smile on Someone’s face.



13. Laugh often. Don’t ever underestimate the power of a good comedy show or movie, especially when you’re having a crappy day. 

 

14. Drink water often, so you don’t get dehydrated.

 



15. While working, or studying, step away from your desk at least once every hour. Take a quick walk around the office, have a light stretch.

 



16. Be kind. Always. Regardless of the circumstances.

 

 You don't have to master everything on the list. Stick to what works for you because its your happiness that matters the most. Happiness is healthy.
