Vacation in the UK can be one of the best ways for a stress-free and afforable holiday with family.
Seaside resorts and even cities in Wales have reported a huge rise in popularity since the Brexit vote last year as more British holiday seekers stay closer to home.

However, holiday in a close quarter for so long could bring about arguments. Avoiding that, you can head towards certain destination in the UK.
Having a pub lunch in Cornwall has been voted the happiest thing to do on a vacation in the UK.

The research by The Serviced Apartment Company (SACO) asked 1,500 people where the happiest place to go is when it came to a staycation.

A close second came in with hiking in the Lake District, which recently became the UK’s first UNESCO heritage site.

Following with the food-orientated holiday, an ice cream on Brighton Beach came in at third for the best holiday adventure in the UK.
Other popular staycation holidays included having fish and chips in Padstow, an open top bus ride in London and visiting the beaches of the Hebrides.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, two-thirds stated they would never holiday abroad if they could guarantee good weather in the UK.

Although hilariously, a further 24 per cent admitted it isn’t a true British holiday unless hit by torrential rain.

A SACO spokesperson commented on the findings: “Britain really does have it all – whether that’s food and drink, leisure, accommodation and entertainment, or the great outdoors and sprawling beaches.

“In terms of culture, history and picturesque scenery, many popular European resorts could not compete.”
