Apple’s App Store: Dating app Tinder finds gold

President Donald Trump has approved a major disaster declaration and emergency federal aid for Florida, describing the hurricane as a "big monster". Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) said it has intensified its onslaught against the threat posed by cybercriminals across the country. It said one of its strategies was the composition of the Industry Working Group (IWG) which brainstorms on ways to wage the war. Engr. Ubale Maska, executive commissioner, Technical Services, NCC, who spoke during the second Workshop of IWG on electronic banking fraud at the Digital Bridge Institute (DBI) Kano, lamented the staggering level of fraud in the industry. During his presentation titled: Electronic Banking Fraud in Nigeria: Challenges and Way Forward”, a Deputy Director at the NCC, Engr. Bako Wakil, said it became necessary to intensify the campaign following the visit by the Deputy Governor of the CBN to management of the NCC to discuss the prevalence of banking fraud using telecoms infrastructure. She was always aggressive anytime i tried talking to her. I didn't know what i did or perhaps  what the problem was with her. I felt unhappy anytime i set my eyes on her. Amazon revamps Echo smart speaker family

  Amazon has announced new versions of its Echo smart speakers that promise improved sound and voice recognition. The basic model also allows its shell to be changed to give it different looks - a feature already offered by Google's rival Home device. A larger Echo Plus adds a "home hub", letting it control smart light bulbs and other third-party products without a separate data-linking device. And the Echo Spot has a screen, making video calls and camera feeds possible. Amazon has never released sales figures for the earlier Echo line-up. But researchers suggest it and its smaller sibling the Echo Dot have been the best selling devices of their kind.   Alibaba, Chinese e-commerce giant, is hosting Suvenia.com alongside three other Nigerian entrepreneurs are currently taking part in the first Alibaba eFounders Initiative Entrepreneurship Training Programme, titled Shaping Champions for the New Economy, hosted in the city of Hangzhou, China. Alibaba was founded by Jack Ma in 1999 and has grown to become one of the largest e-commerce conglomerates that provides consumer-to-consumer, business-to-consumer and business-to-business sales services via web portals. The pilot eFounders Initiative Entrepreneurship Training Programme runs from 10 to 23 November 2017.
