A picture of Santa goes viral as Christmas comes early.

On Dec. 9, the big man will head to Hawaii for a visit to the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort. He won’t be arriving by sleigh, but rather in a much more Hawaii-friendly fashion in his own personal canoe.



Guests are invited to cheer Santa on as he makes his way to shore at the resort. According to Outrigger, Santa and his helpers will ride the waves right onto Waikiki Beach where they will be warmly greeted by a keiki hula group.

Nokia Aim to Integrate CEM Technology For MTN Nigeria

Phot credits: AFP Nokia  has confirmed it will integrate its Customer Experience Management (CEM) software at MTN Nigeria. Naveed Kashif, Nokia’s Account Leader for MTN Group, said, “MTN recognises the growing importance of customer experience management as it seeks to differentiate itself and provide the best possible services to subscribers.” In its quarterly update for the period ended 30 September 2017, MTN recorded a drop in the number of subscribers in markets including South Africa, Uganda, Nigeria and Cameroon, as well as an overall decrease of 0.7%. The telco also announced organic revenue increases in key markets in Africa. MTN Nigeria reported an 11,2% increase in total revenue supported by data revenue growth of 72,1%, but conceded that digital revenue growth has been negatively impacted by the ongoing optimisation of VAS services. Chinese man arrested over US cyber attacks

US authorities claim in court papers that Yu Pingan bought and sold malicious software including the rarely used Sakula program. That malware has been implicated in the 2014 hack attack on the US federal Office of Personnel Management (OPM). Information on a huge number of US workers employed in sensitive or secret work was stolen in that data breach. Software bugs Mr Yu was arrested earlier this week soon after he disembarked from a flight that landed at Los Angeles international airport. He has been charged with breaching computer networks owned by several US firms. Legal papers filed to support the arrest do not explicitly mention the OPM as one of the targets of the suspected attacks.   Alibaba, Chinese e-commerce giant, is hosting Suvenia.com alongside three other Nigerian entrepreneurs are currently taking part in the first Alibaba eFounders Initiative Entrepreneurship Training Programme, titled Shaping Champions for the New Economy, hosted in the city of Hangzhou, China. Alibaba was founded by Jack Ma in 1999 and has grown to become one of the largest e-commerce conglomerates that provides consumer-to-consumer, business-to-consumer and business-to-business sales services via web portals. The pilot eFounders Initiative Entrepreneurship Training Programme runs from 10 to 23 November 2017. Thomas Cook relaunch flights to Tunisia - two years after beach terror attack

Flight and holiday packages to the north African destination were then suspended due to the incidence, with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) advising only essential travel to the region. However, Thomas Cook is one of the first providers to reintroduce flights to Tunisia, two years after the attack took place. It is hoped that British tourists will once again travel to the once popular destination. Thomas Cook is to restart the flights on February 13 and have gone on sale today. Apple Apologises and Fixes Security Flaw

The defect, revealed on Tuesday , made it possible to access a Mac without a password, and also have access to powerful administrator rights. The latest version of MacOS will automatically download the update. "We greatly regret this error and we apologise to all Mac users,” the firm said. "When our security engineers became aware of the issue Tuesday afternoon, we immediately began working on an update that closes the security hole. "This morning, as of 8am PT, the update is available for download, and starting later today it will be automatically installed on all systems running the latest version (10.13.1) of MacOS High Sierra.” It is only second time Apple has forcibly updated users’ machines and comes in response to widespread concern that millions of Mac computers were at risk.
